Laser marking machine

Laser marking system
For high speed design of characters, logos, graphics, barcode and 2D matrix marking, laser marking machine is employed . The machine has a laser, controller and a surface. The laser looks like a pencil, which in fact emits the laser beam, the controller is basically a computer that regulates the movement and the surface depends on the application. The laser beam can remove metal from a surface quite easily. The metal erosion takes place due to the intense heat developed by the beam. Different patterns can be engraved by programming the controller. Since, the position of the pencil is known by the controller, there is no need to add barriers to the surface to prevent laser from deviating from the prescribed path. Very accurate and decorative drawings can be made easily by adding a laser table to the machine. Laser table can operate in vector and raster mode so as to bring very accurate results.
Another printing technique is the Laser marking. Laser engraving is the process of marking design or prints on metal surfaces. A sharp laser beam is focused and concentrated on the surface where the mark has to be imprinted. Replacement is not required as there is no ink or tool used in this method. Techniques like printing, hot branding and laser bonding comes under this. Natural materials like wood and rubber, plastics, metals, alloyed compounds, stone and glass can be subjected to this technique. With accurate speed, focusing and power of the laser beam, very excellent results can be easily achieved. It finds application in fine arts and jewelry.
